End Watch Party can be clicked under Settings by the host to stop the viewing. All viewers will see the same video, but the host will control the playback. You can ask your network administrator to scan the network for infected or misconfigured devices if you’re at work or on a shared network. Once you have found the video you want to view, click on the NP logo at the top of your Google Chrome browser. The next screen will display Create a Teleparty and you should press Start the party. Click here if the download does not start automatically. Look out for unsafe settings, passwords, suspicious add-ons, and out-of-date software.

Hulu Watch Party can be activated via a small icon at the bottom of the screen, on the title details page. Click “Start Watching” to share the link via the chain icon. Hulu says that not all titles offer this option. However, there are thousands of movies and shows available on demand. Hulu Watch Party does not support titles that aren’t available on Hulu. These include premium add-ons and live TV, such as Starz. Watch Party allows up to eight people to watch Hulu together. This can be done in Zoom, Google Meet, and Discord as well as other free video chats.
You will need Google Chrome or Edge to install Teleparty on Windows. Once the installation is completed, you’ll see an NP and TP icon in the address bar. If you don’t have it, you will see a puzzle icon that allows you to pin the Teleparty extension. After it has been visible, you will be able to go to the streaming site of your choice and select the movie or show that you want to view. Telepathy, formerly known as Netflix Party, was only available on Netflix. The latest update expands the extension’s reach on other streaming platforms. Telepathy extensions are easy to set up and can sync episodes, so you and your friend both have the same scene even if you’re watching on different devices.

You can also choose whether admins should have control over playback. You can also add friends you have previously added via email. TwoSeven requires you to first create an account on the website. To allow certain services to function, you will also need the TwoSeven browser extension on Firefox and Chrome. You can then invite friends to TwoSeven from the website, or wait until you create a room. You will need to create a Scener account and install the Chrome extension.
Telepathy is a basic service. It is not much you can do in the chat room. You will receive a random icon when you join the chatroom. To customize your icon, click the icon in the upper-right corner. Your changes will be saved for the next viewing session. Video streaming is a great distraction in pandemic lockdowns.
To give Scener permission to use these features, click the microphone and camera buttons located above the chatbox. Scener allows users to select a service and opens it in the Scener popup screen.
