Our analytics show that customers are spending more time with our app than ever. Photo 10 was accessed as a standalone app by only a third of users in the past. Photo 2017 has changed that. Now, two-thirds of users use it as an independent application and only one-third as a plug-in. Although it solved some photography problems, we were limited in what we could accomplish by using it as a plug-in for other applications. Customers wanted non-destructive editing as well as the ability to copy and paste settings quickly across multiple photos. These and other issues could not be solved by a plug-in. We had to control the entire image pipeline to make this happen.

It is possible for features to be redesigned and the order in which they are implemented may change. The features and updates that we are currently working on are not the same as what I expected back in December. Many photographers have problems with editing and cleaning up their images. A Game Changer In Portrait Editing

The On1 Professional Plugin Series
Photographers require integrated software tools for both mobile and desktop that can produce high-quality photos with minimal effort. Many companies offer multiple apps that can be used to complete their photography workflow. They lock your photos in their proprietary system and make you sign up for subscriptions. Some apps are too complicated and overpriced with unnecessary features.

We will also be looking further ahead and focusing on Layers. Our plans are to integrate Layers into non-destructive editing. We see multiple raw photos being combined, which will remain “raw”, and then being able to size, mask, and blend them together.
